Escuelas de las DeliciasConjunto formado por dos Grupos Escolares.
El primero de ellos es la Escuela Municipal y fue inaugurada en 1928. Su construcción se realizó gracias al legado que dejó para tal fin, Manuel Clemente López del Campo, presbítero en el Arzobispado de Manila, perteneciente a la familia apodada “Los Clementes” cuyas inquietudes educativas llevaron a patrocinar la edificación de dos escuelas en la localidad. El edificio fue restaurado en 1997.
El edificio fue proyectado por el arquitecto municipal, Flaviano Rey de Viñas, iniciando su construcción en 1934, pero no será hasta el 30 de noviembre de 1948 y por Orden Ministerial cuando se creen oficialmente la Escuela Unitaria de Niñas y otra de Párvulos.
Schools of the Delicias (delights)
This educational set is formed by two scholar groups. The buildings were designed by the architect Fabiano Rey de Viñas and Diaz-Marta. In 1934 its construction started. It won´t be until few years later, on 30th November of 1948, when this building got the condition of unitary school of girls and toddles. Nowadays, the Municipal Music School is in one of the buildings, the other has the civil registry. Those schools were built in 1928 thanks to Manuel Clemente López del Campo, presbyter in Manila´s archbishopric. He was a member of a family called Los Clemente, they had huge educative concerns, because his father was a teacher in the school, that is why they are important. As an important fact, we have to say that both buildings were restored in 1997.
